Work Shops
In addition to our current production, we offer specially designed theatre workshops run by our Artistic Directors, Sue Baxter and Alexander Rogers, alongside members of the acting company.
StopGap’s workshops are available by prior arrangement, and will be tailored to suit your needs in terms of the workshop’s duration and scope. Whether you’re students (school or university), members of a youth group, an established amateur company, or industry professionals, we will provide courses to match your particular objectives. Some StopGap workshops last an hour; others last a week. Some are based on our current production; others are based on a text of your choosing. Some focus on developing a specific theatre skill; others focus on the general art and craft of acting and directing.
Whatever your experience, whatever your ambition, tell us what you want and we’ll do the rest. Workshops are the ultimate hands-on way of developing your skills, and an excellent opportunity to interact on a one-to-one basis with the cast and the creative team behind the current production. No request will be deemed too big or too small.
